The Army Cadet Force
MAKE YOUR MARK!
You will not Make Your Mark unless you become one of the many thousands of young people that are Making their Mark throughout the year as a member of The Army Cadet Force (ACF), one of the UK’s largest and most successful youth organisations.

The ACF in Wales offers young people between the ages of 12 and 18 (girls and boys) the opportunity to develop both personally and physically by providing a range of challenges and activities.

The ACF detachments meet one or two evenings a week and at weekends and you will be issued with a free camouflage Combat Uniform including the cap badge of one the famous and world renowned regiments of Wales.
The ACF is about fun and opportunity in a positive, structured environment that encourages the development of leadership, teamwork, initiative, self-confidence, self-discipline and a sense of responsibility.
It welcomes young people and adults from all backgrounds and abilities. No cadets or adult volunteers will ever be called upon for duty with the Armed Forces, and whilst some cadets do follow a career in the Armed Forces, the Cadet Forces are not used as a recruiting opportunity.

There are 138 ACF detachments across Wales split between 3 forces: Clwyd and Gwynedd ACF, Dyfed and Glamorgan, Gwent and Powys.
So wherever you are, if your free time always seems routine and mundane "It is time for you to Make Your Mark" by becoming an Army Cadet in Wales – for a life changing experience.
