SO WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING THIS WEEKEND?

We are prepared to bet that most of you will say that you will be:

  • Hanging out with your mates

  • Playing on your wii or nintendo

  • Shopping with the girlfriend

  • Not very exciting really is it?
There is a real alternative if you are aged
    between 13 and 18.

We teach you to be independent, to learn skills such as first aid and map reading and we play a lot of sport.  In this year alone, we have produced some top class athletes and rugby players.

The Army Cadet Force offers young people in Wales the chance to get out and Get Some Attitude.

In fact we have 153 detachments that can offer you the opportunity of a lifetime.

We will also teach you to shoot and take part in military style exercises where you live rough and learn tactics which help to make the British Army what it is today. We will take you adventure training into the mountains or on the water in Wales and abroad.

Cadets who are taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme often conduct their final Gold Award expedition in Cyprus or Spain.

It beats Llandudno or Merthyr on a wet weekend!

Our detachments meet one or two evenings per week and at weekends. You will be issued with a free camouflage Combat Kit and you will wear the cap badge of one of the famous regiments of Wales.

That really is something to be proud of.

So, if this weekend seems like a routine one, get out of that rut and get some Attitude. Contact us or ask for the location of your nearest detachment by calling your nearest headquarters.

You have got nothing to lose.
