The Air Training Corps
The Air Training Corps (ATC) are part of the Air Cadet Organisation which also includes RAF Sections of the Combined Cadet Force
The ATC is a youth organisation supported by the Royal Air Force with the motto 'Venture - Adventure'
Joining the ATC you will have the opportunity to gain experience in the air, flying with volunteer Royal Air Force pilots in some of the most modern aeroplanes in the world.
Cadets are shown how the aircraft flies and are given the chance throughout the year to control the aeroplane, experience aerobatics or simply admire the view!
Life in the ATC also encourages learning through practical experience, especially in the great outdoors!
Adventurous training such as rock climbing, abseiling, mountain-biking, canoeing and sailing is a huge part of cadet training.

The ATC are proud to be the Duke of Edinburgh Award's largest participant and many qualifications will be gained from joining the ATC, including BTEC and City and Guilds.
