University of Wales Officer Training Corps
The University of Wales Officers Training Corps (WUOTC) is open to all full time students, male and female, of British nationality.
Students are recruited once a year at the start of the academic year and recruits normally have two full years of study remaining.

Our role is to foster students’ personal development and leadership through the media of military training, adventure training, sport and social activities.
We encourage companionship and develop the sense of individual and collective responsibility.
We also introduce students to the Army, what it stands for, what it does and how it is organised. Most training takes place at weekends, but mid week meetings are held at various units throughout Wales.

So if you really want more to life than basic university education contact us now!
The HQ of Wales UOTC is based in Maindy Barracks, Cardiff with companies in Aberystwyth, Bangor, Swansea and Wrexham.
